I am lucky enough to spend two weeks a year on the Isles of Scilly in Cornwall. As you have probably noticed, a lot of my work is inspired by the beautiful Archipelago. With it's Sub-Tropical climate it offers unique flora, fauna and sea life.
My late Grandpa was the Locum vet on the Islands, when their vet went on their summer holiday! So my Mum grew up spending her Summers out there, getting to know the locals and all the secret spots on the Islands.
The little Islands are almost toy-town like, with passenger ferries transporting tourists and locals from one Island to another, and some islands having only tractors as their primary form of transport! It is somewhere I will forever gain inspiration from, not only visually but with story-telling too.
